Aἰαία / Aeaea was a mythical island in Greek antiquity. It was the place where the sorceress Circe was said to live. A witch to some, a goddess to others, Circe manifested magic. Aeaea does not appear on any modern map, and even in ancient Greece there was a great debate about where it could be found. This mystery and the magical nature of Circe embodies everything my jewelry aims to be: colorful, individual, and enchanting.

My name is Lydia and I make all of the art you see here. I am a Greek-American woman, painter, opera singer, and now earring maker. During lockdown round I-don’t-know-what, I discovered polymer clay as a medium and have been creating ever since. I myself don’t have my ears pierced, and it’s been a lifelong passion of mine to find interesting, fun, and unique clip ons…which is why I decided to make them myself, and I try to offer every style in both clip on and pierced options!
